I serve as the adviser and general manager for The Courier student newspaper. The Courier is the student-created newspaper for the College of DuPage. I advise the student journalists and run the business operations of the news organization. The college has more than 20,000 students, making it one of the largest community colleges in the country and the second-largest institution of higher education in Illinois.

As the adviser and business manager for the Courier, I initiated and oversaw the development of a weekly email newsletter edition of the student's work. In two years, the newsletter grew to have more than 35,000 subscribers.
